Oklahoma City native Thomas Brewer and wife Patricia Dix have made their mark on the medical community. Married in 1985, the couple soon relocated to Springfield, Missouri.
After relocating, Thomas began managing a health service program for elderly patients and Dr. Patricia Dix started and directed CoxHealth's regional perinatal center specializing in high-risk pregnancies.
In 1992, the Brewers' gift of an insurance policy established an advised fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation through which they support a variety of charitable causes that promote the values of justice and peace.
