O. June Allen always called Oklahoma City her home, even though her husband's endeavors in the oil business led the couple to move to Canada for some time. Upon her return in 1973, Mrs. Allen established a trust to benefit the Oklahoma City community.
Mrs. Allen was 88 years old at the time of her death in 1987. In the same year, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation became the charitable beneficiary of her trust. The proceeds from her gift support the Fund for Oklahoma City.
