Oklahoma City native Diane Gumerson, gave freely of her time and talents to the causes she cared about. In addition to being a wife and mother of three, she was involved in numerous community activities and projects throughout Oklahoma City including the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Junior League and the American Cancer Society.
As a longtime volunteer and past chairman of the board for the Overholser Mansion, it seemed fitting when friends and family joined together to create the Dianne Gumerson Memorial Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation following her death in 1996. The Dianne Gumerson/Overholser Mansion Fund benefits the Overholser Mansion, a historical home located in central Oklahoma City.
