Following in his mother’s footsteps, Joseph Andrash, an Oklahoma City architect, was a passionate supporter of public beautification projects around Oklahoma City. In 2007, Joe received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Heartline Volunteer Center of Central Oklahoma for his service with the Oklahoma City Tree Bank Foundation and Oklahoma City Beautiful.
He died in 2015, but not before establishing a fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to honor his mother Anna and her love for wildflowers and plants. To this day, the Joe T. Andrash Beautification Fund supports a variety of nature projects throughout the Oklahoma City metro area.
